This past weekend I found myself in the West Village, which meant a trip to Chelsea Market was in order. After an hour of wandering through the market I came home with an abundance of fresh fruit, cheese, carbs and Nutella. Once my Saturday night snacking was over, I put these leftovers to good use and came up with a few new creations.
My new addiction: brie & fruit crostini. I brushed french bread with some olive oil and toasted it in the oven. I topped my crostini off with brie, a thin slice of pear and a blackberry. Completely delicious and easy for entertaining.
Sunday was dreary and rainy so naturally I craved grilled cheese. All I needed was my brie, blackberries, olive oil, bread and some honey (or Agave).
After toasting the french bread in some olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat, I added the brie, blackberries and drizzled my Agave.
The melted brie combined with juicy berries and some sweet agave made for the perfect dinner that satisfied both my salty and sweet tooth.
